The Joyce Ficathon

In December 2003 the esteemed Charles, listdaddy of JustJoyce and all-round excellent person, initiated the first Joyce Ficathon challenge. Eight brave authors answered his call. Including himself, which possibly means he was talking to himself, but we won't dwell on that. Anyhoo, the task was simple: each said if they wanted a specific pairing or a gen fic, and specified up to two requests for inclusion and one restriction. Everyone then got someone else's request at random, wrote it to the best of their not unimpressive abilities and posted the fic.
