Summary: Overview of Joyce's role in episode. We won't cover the plot of the episode because you can get entire episode synopses elsewhere that would be much better (e.g. BuffyGuide.com). However, there will, no doubt, be spoilers, so be warned.

Sunnydale Style: An exhaustive account of the magnificent outfits Joyce models in each episode, because we're obsessed with that sort of thing here. Joyce as fashion guru? You decide.

Interaction: Who Joyce speaks to in the episode, and who she has scenes with, so all you eager writers can look for inspiration for particular character pairings.

Joyce's Best Line: Based on our entirely arbitrary opinion, the one piece of dialogue Joyce utters in the episode that ranks above all of the others. Useful for when you're spouting Joyce trivia.

Fertility Statue Rating: Our rating system (from 1 Fertility Statue at worst to 5 Fertility Statues at best) is based, as with Joyce's best line, solely on our less than modest opinion. The episodes are judged on how much Joyce develops as a character, how much screen time she is given, how funny or poignant her lines are, and what she gets to wear. This will give you an idea of the classic Joyce episodes - and those where her potential is wasted! Episodes where Joyce fails to appear at all are given an automatic nil Fertility Statue rating.
