***
Oz was driving on the highway. He had left from Sunnydale a
year ago. Oz had
had time to think and now he was starting a new life, after a
year of
thinking and living in his van, sometimes in a crappy hotel. Now
Oz was
driving to LA to visit Angel, Doyle and Cordy. He had only about
a 100 miles
left, but he was so tired, cause he had driven the whole night
that he had
to stay to the side of the road on a little parking place to
sleep.
***
Angel was sitting in his office, when Cordy walked in with
Wesley. It was
late, so Angel was a little surprised about their visit.
"Something wrong?"
he asked. "Not exactly, we just came to check on you before
going home."
Cordy answered straight away. Wesley was a little embarrassed for
Cordy's
sake, but he guessed that Angel knew her. "I'm fine, you
guys just go home
and sleep." Angel said in a tired voice. "Okay."
Cordy answered surprisingly
cheerful and Wesley and Angel looked at each other a little
surprised by the
comment. "Okay, Wes, let's go." Cordy turned around,
grabbed Wesley on his
tie and pulled so hard that Wesley almost fell over. They
disappeared
through the door and Angel was alone. He was glad for the
silence, because
he had to think about everything. Then, some time before dawn, he
fell
asleep.
***
It was 8:20 in the evening, when Oz woke up. He looked outside
and thought
he could start driving again. The trip went fast and when Oz got
to LA, he
decided to drive straight to Cordy's place and eat a sandwich in
his van
before going to her place.
***
Cordy was sitting alone in her livingroom and watching TV,
when she heard a
knock at the door. Cordy stood up and looked from the door eye.
She was a
little surprised, but she opened the door right away.
"Oz!" she screamed
happy and jumped over to hug him. Oz was a little surprised by
the hug, but
managed to say "Hi." The two hugged a little while and
then stepped apart.
"How are you doing?" Cordy asked. "I'm fine."
Oz answered and continued,
"How are Angel and Doyle?" When Cordy heard Doyle's
name, she broke to tears
and Oz embraced her tight and a little confused. "What's
wrong?" he asked
carefully. Cordy shook a little and tears fell from her eyes. She
slowly
lifted her eyes to meet Oz's and she broke again. She cried a
while and
finally got the words out of her mouth. "He's dead. Doyle is
dead." Oz
hugged her tighter and tried to comfort her. "I'm sorry,
Cordy. I shouldn't
have asked. I'm sorry." Oz checked his pocket, found a tiny
handkerchief and
handed it to Cordy. She took it, wiped her eyes and started to
talk. She
felt it easy to talk to Oz. "I'm kinda over it, but not
kinda over. Whenever
someone says his name, even if by accident, it makes me cry,
cause he was a
nice guy and I loved him. It wasn't real love, it was like friend
love...
you know?" Oz nodded. Cordy told him a lot about Doyle. When
Cordy finished,
Oz asked: "Want something? I could cook." "Oh no,
you don't have to." Cordy
refused, but Oz insisted and Cordy had to say yes to his
macaroni. Oz moved
to the kitchen, searched for the stuff he needed and started
cooking. When
Oz was finished, Cordy came to the kitchen and sat down to the
table. Oz put
the food to the table. "Bon appétit!" he said.
"Bon appétit!" Cordy answered
and they started eating. When they were finished, Oz started to
collect the
dishes, but Cordy grabbed Oz's hand to stop him. Then the
feelings broke.
They embraced and started kissing. They headed to the bedroom
ripping each
other's clothes off. Oz threw Cordy to the bed and jumped after
her. They
continued to kiss and Oz came in her. He started a fast to and
fro move and
soon they both came. Suddenly Cordy noticed that Oz's face
started to
change. When she realized, what she was looking at, she screamed.
Oz was a
vampire. "Please, do scream." Oz said sarcastically and
bit her.
***
Angel was walking in an alley, when a vampire attacked him.
Angel was
thinking very hard, where Cordy could be, because he hadn't seen
her the
whole day, which was unusual. When the vampire attacked him,
Angel took a
stake from his pocket and staked it. "How stupid can
vampires be nowadays?"
he thought. Then Angel remembered his own little secret and
smiled a little
before continuing his walk. He noticed that he hadn't much time
before dawn,
so he started to run.
***
In the evening Angel was sitting in his office, when Oz walked
in. "Hey!"
Angel said surprised. "Hey." Oz answered. "How are
you doing?" he continued.
"Fine. Business is kinda quiet at the time and we're
fine." Angel answered.
"That's good." Oz looked the same as always. Even, when
you considered that
the last time he had visited them was over a year ago, he hadn't
changed
any. Maybe he was a little paler than then, but it must've been
hard time
for him, so Angel didn't think he had had time to get a sun tan.
Angel stood
up from his chair, walked to the front of his desk and sat on it.
"Good to
see you again," he said. "You too," Oz answered.
There was a silence and
they stared at each other. Oz took a step forward. Angel
continued to look
into his eyes. And then, it happened. Suddenly Oz kissed him.
Angel returned
it. "I have missed you," he said to Oz, when the kiss
ended. "And I have
missed you." They kissed again and this time a little more
passionately.
They embraced and Angel grabbed Oz to his arms. Oz started
kissing Angel's
neck and Angel carried him to the elevator. When they got to
Angel's
apartment, they started kissing again. Angel put Oz down gently
and took his
shirt off. Then he sat on the side of the bed with Oz, who was
laying on it,
and kissed him. Angel took Oz's shirt off and laid him down. He
kissed Oz's
chest, then his nipple and then his stomach. Angel got lower
every second
and finally he was just above Oz's jeans. He took them off and Oz
was on his
underpants. Angel took them off and Oz blushed. It had been over
a year
since he and Angel had made love the last time. Angel knelt and
took Oz's
cock in his mouth. He started to suck it, first a little shyly,
but when he
remembered that it was Oz he was making love to, he closed his
eyes and
sucked it long and hard. It wasn't a long time before Oz came and
then Angel
noticed something. Oz wasn't Oz anymore, he was a vampire. It was
a shock to
Angel; he backed away from the bed to the doorway and looked at
VampOz. Oz
was lying on the bed looking like a vamp and didn't even notice
it until he
noticed that he couldn't feel Angel anymore. Then he sat up and
looked at
Angel. "What's the matter, Angel? Haven't you missed
me?" he asked with
amazement in his features. "No, I haven't missed you. I have
missed Oz." he
answered coldly. Suddenly Oz became aware of his vampiness and
started to
cry. The vamp went away and there he was, there was Oz again.
Angel was
confused and ran to Oz to comfort him. Oz cried long and soon he
was asleep.
Angel watched him in his calm sleep and wondered, what had
happened to the
poor guy on his year of loneliness. Sometime before dawn, he too
fell
asleep.
***
It was sometime before midnight that they both woke up. Oz
frightened a
little, when he saw Angel, but sighed, when he saw no anger in
his face.
Angel hugged Oz. Oz was a little surprised. "Aren't you mad
at me?" "Why
would I be mad? Now you're the same as me." "Well,
yeah, kind of, but still
not exactly the same." "I know..." "No! You
don't know one thing that you
should." Angel looked at Oz, waiting. "I killed
Cordy." Angel hadn't
expected that, but he couldn't think. Cordy, dead? It felt like a
huge
snowball had run over him. It was cold and painful.
"What?" he was confused.
Angel was furious. Cordy was his friend, but so was Oz. Then it
came; he
couldn't hold it inside. "Make love to me," he said.
Now Oz was confused.
"What?" he asked. "Make love to me right
now!" Angel yelled. Oz kissed him
quickly to shut him up and rolled Angel under him. "Okay
then," he said and
did.
***
-It was beautiful. I don't want to lose him. I have to stay
strong. I have
to do it, for everyone's sake. - Angel decided that he had to do
it. He took
a stake from his closet and went back to bed. He watched Oz for a
while and
then he hit him with the stake right to the heart. Angel saw Oz's
pain in
his last expression. When Angel realized Oz was dead, he started
to cry.
